Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Sheyanne & I am from a small town in Eastern Oregon. I am a junior at Burns High School & play volleyball & softball. I absolutely love fashion and plan on attending Parsons or FIT when I graduate & majoring in Fashion Design. I cant see myself working in any other field than fashion. I love my family & even though I wish I lived in New York City, I cant imagine growing up any different! I recently started a blog, countrychicsheyanne.blogspot.com I am new at it but I love the new adventure!

Describe your personal style and its influences / inspiration.
My personal style is very vintage! I adore the 20s and 30s era and always seem to have a very Hollywood glam style. I have a red lips obsession & an addiction to vintage dresses! I am rarely found wearing jeans! I always am in dresses or leggings & tunics!

What do you want to do/accomplish in the next 10 years?
I want to be in New York City & graduate from Parsons with a fashion design degree. Hopefully have a few internships under my belt & hopefully start my clothing line designing high fashion gowns & getting my name out into the fashion world. Hopefully finding a husband & getting married, having a very old Hollywood themed wedding!

How did you first get interested in fashion and why is it important?

My first love for fashion started when I was 12 years old watching The Hills on MTV. To this day, Lauren Conrad is one of my idols & I fell in love with her job. Fashion is a way that I can express myself. Putting on a new dress or carrying a designer bag makes a girl feel confident & like she can do anything. I hope I can create pieces that will give women confidence & the ability to conquer their dreams!

What are your greatest passions?
My greatest passion is of course fashion. I love shopping & researching to see the latest in’s and how I can apply it to my personal style. I also have a passion for public speaking & that thrill you get by nailing a debate or speech in front of a crowd. As well, I love to help people. I always have loved experiencing new things and seeing how others live. I love to travel & see the world!
