TEXTILE Elizabeth and James Spring '13 Look Book

Today on the TEXTILE Elizabeth and James Facebook page, the Spring '13 Look Book was released.

TEXTILE Elizabeth and James is a brand of pure, utter perfection. Season after season, I become more enamoured with the brand and the individuality of each of the pieces. Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen are designer powerhouses, they design for high-end label The Row, trendy Elizabeth and James and TEXTILE Elizabeth and James along with a Juniors line called Olsenboye and a monthly subscription type brand called StyleMint. Each brand is vastly different but they all come back to modern and minimalistic and being just plain wearable.

TEXTILE Elizabeth and James takes pieces that every woman has in their closet (denim) and turns these staples into pieces of art. The Spring '13 look book is full of tie dye shirts, light and white denim, distressed denim and my personal favorite, a white denim pant with a single plain black pinstripe up the leg.  This season also included a one piece overall/romper style denim suit with long sleeves instead of the standard straps. This unique and modern twist on the common overall pant is purely mesmerizing, and I am certain that this will be one of the most popular pieces from this collection.

A noticeable trend from this look book is the comeback of the skinny/straight leg denim pants. I'll always love my vintage bell bottom and flare jeans, but there is something about a straight leg pant that makes women feel sexy and confident. I am quite fond of the placement of zippers in this collection, and the amount of distressed denim. The denim shirts are something to be desired as well, it is usually very hard to find the "perfect" denim shirt, but I think that TEXTILE Elizabeth and James nailed it for Spring '13.

I can't wait until I can order these pieces online so I can feel the fabric and fall even more in love with the always enchanting, TEXTILE Elizabeth and James.

I particularly love the jumpers and t shirts with the writing on them. Very simple, but stylish. Lovely collection!
