"If you find a girl who reads, keep her close. When you find her up at 2 AM clutching a book to her chest and weeping, make her a cup of tea and hold her. You may lose her for a couple of hours but she will always come back to you. She'll talk as if the characters in the book are real, because for a while, they always are. Date a girl who reads because you deserve it. You deserve a girl who can give you the most colorful life imaginable. - Robert Pattinson
I love books.
I re-read my favorites over and over until I know in my mind what the next sentence is going to be. I love how I can get completely lost in a book, imagination going wild.
I am currently re-reading the Anne of Green Gables series of novels, many of you don't know this about me but I spent a lot of lovely summers of my childhood in the beautiful Price Edward Island! I even moved there when I was ages 17-19, and loved every second of it.
One of my most favorite things to do is to climb underneath a comfy, soft blanket; curl up, drink tea, and read a book. There's something so beautiful about being at peace with your head in a book. Book love and reading is one of the many reasons I always envisioned myself as "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast when I was a child. There's nothing I'd love more than to own my own library, I love the smell of books - new and old!
I am currently looking for some book suggestions, and I thought I'd also share what's on my current wishlist for all you book worms looking for some book recommendations like myself.
1. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson (Before Peter Pan belonged to Wendy, he belonged to the girl with the crow feather in her hair)
