The MET Gala 2013 | Punk: Chaos to Couture

The Met Gala is Fashion's Oscars.

It's my favorite night of the year.

The live feed on was wonderful, since I couldn't be outside the MET myself. However, I didn't enjoy the hosts simply because they cut off some of the most fabulous people! Who would cut off Vivienne Westwood? I didn't think it was real life for a moment.

I never had a punk stage, but it is safe to say after seeing all of the wonder from Chaos to Couture, I will most definitely be adding some more studs and safety pins to my closet this year.

The Highlights

Sarah Jessica Parker's entire outfit. Hello, did you see her mohawk?!
Anne Hathaway's bleach blonde hair. Yes.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were BOTH in attendance. Winning.
Cameron Diaz's cape.
Kristen's little speech to the cameras "Provoke something!" I admire her.
Bee Shaffer. I need to know more about this girl. She's fabulous.
Katy Perry's crown.

The most common question asked besides the usual "who are you wearing", was "what is your favorite punk song?" I'm about to share mine, what's yours?

I have to go with Judy is a Punk for the Royal Tenebaums connection.
