Garden Party

Since it's so gloomy and cold outside I thought I would share some beautiful images so we can all look forward to Spring.

Floral dresses, head pieces, shoes... everything beautiful and things a modern day Marie Antoinette would wear to a Garden Tea Party.

Ruffles, lace, feathers and pink.

Get The Look For Less : Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani has got the look.

She's edgy, so unique yet she has that incredibly strong feminine look about her. This look is basic, but it's really a great style to wear for that casual kind of day out on the town.

Here's a quick guide on how to get Gwen's look for less!

Elizabeth and James : Pre-Fall 2013

Elizabeth and James Pre-Fall 2013 screams Tomboy Chic. Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen sure know how to make the best of both worlds collide in a fabulous way. The line is for any girl.

Mary-Kate and Ashley have stuck to the basic theme of their trendy line, East and West mingling together to create the looks that are tough but feminine. Elizabeth and James always amazes me. Season after season I grow more interested in the brand and designers. The garments are so well made, the structure, trendy nature and soft looks of the garments are not available in any other line.

Any piece from Elizabeth and James is drool worthy, they are pieces that will immediately become show pieces in your closet.

I am lusting over the ivy blouse, asymmetrical skirt and patterned dress.

SAG Awards 2013

The SAG Awards were last night. The Screen Actors Guild Awards are unique mainly because of it's voting system. Two randomly selected panels of 2,100 members across the USA nominate the actors, and then all of the members of the SAG-AFTRA (about 100,000 members) vote on the nominations.

The SAG awards last night also showcased their special Lifetime Achievement Award which went to Dick van Dyke.

There was a lot of beautifully dressed actresses and actors at the awards. My favorite Hollywood power couple is Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. They are so completely in love with each other, I think every man should treat their significant others like how he treats her. It's adorable!

And now, onto the fashion of this high profile event.

Noticeable Fashion Trends:
Navy Blue
Fitted Dresses
Mermaid Style Dresses

Noticeable Beauty Trends:
Side Swept hair

Lightly Waved Hair

My personal favorites:
Anne Hathaway
Jennifer Garner
Helen Hunt
Ellie Kemper

Jim Parsons looking dapper in a 3 piece suit with a fabulous bowtie.

Ellie Kemper

Naomi Watts in Marchesa.

Jessica Chastian in a red hot Alexander McQueen

Amy Poehler in Zuhair Murad showing off her wonderfully curvy figure.

Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Couture. As a lot of people noticed, it looked like she ripped the dress when she went to accept her award for Best Actress. Personally, I think it just is a layered dress and it was just falling back into place since she hiked it up to get up the stairs.

Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta. I personally think Tina looked like a starlet from the 50's in this. She looks classic, and I really enjoy the gold belt.

Marion Cotillard in Dior.

Kaley Cuoco in Romona Keveza. I really love how she is wearing bright red shoes for that extra pop of colour.

Amanda Seyfried in a gorgeous Zac Posen gown. The colour of this dress really makes Amanda's hair and  skin look  so beautiful.

Justin Timberlake. OMG. This looks amazing, I love the striped Tom Ford suit.

Anne Hathaway’s Giambattista Valli dress traveled all the way from Paris to the SAG Awards! It debuted in Paris just six days ago on the runway during Haute Couture Fashion Week. What did you think of the embroidered tulle design? She is my Best Dressed from this event! She was also an award winner for her part in Les Mis!

Jennifer Garner stunned in this sequined gold Oscar de la Renta gown. This brunette looks amazing in gold!

Julianne Moore in Chanel. Gorgeous, oh so gorgeous.

Lea Michelle in Valentino

Claire Danes in Givenchy. I adore this gown. The designs are so unique.

Eddie Redmayne in a velvet suit. Wonderful!
Bradley Cooper in Tom Ford. In his interview with E! on the red carpet  Bradley spoke french.  When Bradley Cooper speaks French....things happen to me

Helen Hunt looking so amazing, I was surprised to see her at this event! She looks amazing.
