Friday Favorites | Bath and Body Works Fall Collection

Bath and Body Works candles are like the holy grail of candles.

They are so amazing and smell like heaven.

I treat myself with a couple candles whenever they have their promotions on.

This time, the fall candles had me stop in my tracks. WHICH ONES DO I CHOOSE?!

I chose two, Blackberry Bramble Tea and Pumpkin Cupcake.

Pumpkin Cupcake fills up our home with the sweet yet spicy aroma of pumpkin. I absolutely love it! I need to get a few more before the season is out. Blackberry Bramble is like you've been baking and your home smells so delicious! I bought this candle because Jaclyn Hill suggested it on her video - so I just had to get it!

They had a great promo on when I went in - spend 20$ and get a free item! I got a super cute body spray, it smells great! It's called Pink Chiffon.

I can't wait to go back and get two more of the fall collecton of candles. I am thinking I want the Pumpkin Sugared Donut and Sea Salt and Maple Popcorn candles next! I will have to order these online as they are sold out at my local store!

Style | Houndstooth Everything

Houndstooth is trending.

Luckily, I have several pieces of houndstooth from being a fashion collector over the years.

Today I threw on my houndstooth dress and shoes and prepared to conquer the day.

Moschino Barbie | Spring/Summer 2015

Moschino made my fashion dreams come true with a Barbie inspired Spring/Summer 2015 runway show.

It's like Malibu Barbie was strutting down the Runway at Milan Fashion Week!

My styling started with making dresses and outfits for my Barbie's so this show was really spectacular! Some of the pieces were so reminiscent of Barbie outfits I used to make/own as a child.

Just imagine a fashion show full of pink, gold lame, sparkles and ruffles.

Iconic | Kate Moss

Kate Moss is an iconic supermodel. She's a household name. Unique beauty.

Sometimes I like looking at my Kate Moss Style book for some influence and styling ideas. She's got that 90's grunge look down pat and defiantly knows how to make an entrance.

These are my favourite photos of Moss that I chose to share on this lovely Saturday! The camera is her best friend, she knows how to work it.

Trending | Plaid and Tartan

Plaid is everywhere right now.

It brings me back to my childhood memories and makes me think of grunge. I love a plaid shirt tied around your waist a la Mary-Kate Olsen in 2007. I just purchased a fabulous plaid shirt from Joe Fresh for 19$ that is actually perfect!

I'm now on the hunt for the perfect plaid scarf, and a red plaid dress. I already own so much plaid and tartan, but not enough! I have a vision of what I want in my head and I just can't shake it.

Plaid is trending right now. It's on all the runways, and in the magazines. But, I was wearing plaid before it was cool. Here's a throwback to me rocking purple plaid in my kindergarden photo.

It might have something to do with my last name being "Stewart" and the Stewart plaid...

If you didn't already want plaid, keep reading and get inspired! Once you go plaid, you don't go back.

Favorites Friday | Pumpkin Spice Streusel Muffins

October, Halloween, Pumpkins, Knit Sweaters, Cuddles, Apples, Leaves, Costumes, Horror movies : my favourite things about Fall. I love this season, I can't get enough! Those Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte's are my addiction and thank goodness they released them early this year!

I have been testing my wifey skills in the kitchen, I made Pumpkin Spice Streusel muffins on Tuesday night after work. They were amazing. I have this issue with following receipes - I improvise and do what I think is best. Sometimes there is positive results, sometimes disasterous! For this little experiement - it was great. I used the Rachel Ray receipe and added a little flair.

Enjoy!

Ingredients
For the muffin batter:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1-15 ounce can pure packed pumpkin
2/3 cup water

For the streusel topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 tablespoons melted butter

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and place muffin liners in muffin tin(s).
Make the muffin batter: Whisk together in a large bowl. There should be lumps but no streaks of flour. Fill each muffin cup 2/3 with the batter.
Make the streusel: In a small bowl combine ingredients and stir until mixture is combined – there should be some small lumps. Top each batter-filled muffin cup with a spoonful of streusel, spreading so the tops are evenly coated and press down slightly. Bake 25-32 minutes for jumbo muffins (mine took exactly 30 minutes), or 18-24 minutes for regular size muffins, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean, maybe with a crumb or two.

Then wait for them to cool down a little so you don't burn your little mouth and pig out! They're amazing. Plus, my house smells like fall now and my boo loves it!

The 25 Best Carrie Bradshaw Style Moments

Carrie Bradshaw is known for her eclectic and unique style. You literally have no clue what she is going to put together next (style wise) - unless you've watched every single episode and movie of Sex and the City at least a dozen times each...

I often look at SATC for style inspiration. Some of the outfits are just so amazing - Patricia Field is a powerhouse genius when it comes to style and fashion.

I'm going to be writing a style series on each of the Sex and the City girls. I had to do Carrie first!

Carrie's style has really evolved over time. I think her best moments, style wise in the TV series was when she was with Alexander P. Really though, she looked amazing! When she was in Paris she looked so lovely and parisian. Her dress collection is absolutely to die for.

Of course, the Sex and the City movies really showed how all of the SATC girls had evolved since the TV series ended. I actually own a few pieces from the movie that I just adore!

Carrie's pink dress, studded belt, green floral Betsey Johnson dress, blue Manolo Blahniks...Sigh. They are statement pieces in my wardrobe!

Now let's get some inspiration from SATC, and Miss Carrie Bradshaw!
